Jon “Bones” Jones New Sponsorship with Floyd “Money” Mayweather???
After Jon “Bones” Jones was stripped of his UFC title following a hit and run accident that resulted in a pregnant woman being injured, Jones is ready to move on. The former UFC champion has had a number of losses associated with the accident and possibly one that hits the hardest, financial loss.
Terminated contracts with Reebok, Nike and MuscleTech to name a few have led to financial strain for the former champ who is anticipating a potential scrap with current champ Daniel “DC” Cormier.
Ariel Helwani spoke to Jones and revealed that one sponsor he’s considering is none other than Floyd Mayweather’s “Money Team.”
“I haven’t (talked to him yet), but my business partners have already reached out to him and you may see me in some Money Team gear,” he said. “I’m not saying I’m joining ‘The Money Team’, but it’s definitely a possibility, I’m not opposed to it. Floyd’s career has been tremendous.” he said in the interview.
With all the accomplishments that Jones has achieved in a short amount of time in his MMA career and all his future achievements to come, Jones should have no issues raking in the dough with endorsements and sponsors once “Bones” gets back and does “his thing” in the octagon.
