Jon Jones First Interview Following Failed Drug Test To Air Monday On Fox Sports 1
Since failing a random pre-fight drug test ahead of his UFC 182 win over Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones has not spoken to media members regarding the test.
FOX Sports sent out the following press release regarding the interview.
On Monday night’s FOX SPORTS LIVE, host Charissa Thompson sits down in an exclusive 1 on 1 interview with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones to discuss his recent positive drug test and subsequent visit to a rehab facility.
Jones defended his UFC title against challenger Daniel Cormier at UFC 182 in Las Vegas on January 3. On the Tuesday following that fight, it was revealed that Jones had tested positive to having cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine in his system, during a random drug test on December 4. That same Tuesday, Jones checked himself into a drug treatment facility. Later that week, in an interview, his mother stated that he left the rehab facility after just one day.
