Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson Targeted For UFC 187

According to Dana White, UFC officials are looking at a potential May date for the upcoming Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson light-heavyweight title fight.

UFC officials have yet to announce an official date for the bout, however White, who was recently on a guest on the Jim Rome show, stated that the promotion was looking at May.

“We’re looking to do that fight in May,” White said on The Jim Rome Show. “I don’t have the exact date, but May.”

If true, Jones vs. Johnson will likely land on the annual Memorial Day Weekend fight card, UFC 187 on May 23.
