Jose Aldo Still Negotiating With Reebok, Venum And Other Sponsor
When you think about the UFC’s Reebok deal and the fighters that have been pretty vocal against it, one name that certainly comes up is featherweight champion Jose Aldo’s.
Aldo has been very critical of the sponsorship deal, even refusing an individual deal offered to him by Reebok shortly after they came on board. And don’t forget that time he said the new uniforms looked like power rangers.
Well, the UFC champ could be looking to take that offer after all. According to his coach and manager Andre Pederneiras, Aldo’s contract with major sponsor Venum will be up soon and he’s in talks with them, Reebok and some other sponsor.
Check it out!
“Actually, we’re still under contract with Venum. Are we in negotiation with Reebok? Ever since they signed with the UFC. Not only with them, but also with a third one. We’re going to sit and talk with everyone to see what’s best for Aldo.”
With the lack of exposure for any other sponsor, is it really likely that Aldo will be able to hang on to his other sponsors?
