Jose Aldo’s Coach Rips Into Chael Sonnen

“We think Sonnen is entitled to his opinion, that’s his right, but we thank God he is not the UFC president. I’m not even saying that because he said he would strip Aldo of his title, but because today there’s an antidoping policy that would not be possible if Sonnen was the president. If Chael were president, we would have a pro doping and pro tax evasion policy, since he has shown he likes to do both things very much throughout his career. Chael, you said it was absurd for a champion to abandon five title fights. Well, what I can tell you is that you don’t have any experience to express that opinion since you were never an UFC champion. You tried a couple of times, but as we all know, you didn’t pass those tests.”

Jose Aldo’s coach Andre Pederneiras spoke with Combate recently and slammed former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen for his comments about stripping Aldo’s belt, even if Pederneiras said that’s not what he was referring to.
