Karate Hottie Predicting Submission Win Over Torres

Former Invicta FC atomweight champion Michelle Waterson, aka ‘The Karate Hottie’, is currently in the UFC and is coming off of her debut win over Angela Magana. Her next fight will be against another TUF 20 cast member, Tecia Torres.

It will be a tough challenge for both fighters and the winner will certainly be pushed up the rankings and on their way towards a UFC title.

Ahead of the fight, while on Submission Radio, Waterson said that she predicts a submission win over the ‘Tiny Tornado.’

“I predict submission.”

“Both of us have that stand up background. But as far as the ground goes, I do have the upper hand. And so I feel like when they matched Tecia with Angela Hill they thought it would be a great match up because they both have a stand up background, and Tecia took advantage of the fact that it was MMA and took it to the ground. I just I don’t feel like Tecia’s gonna do that. So I feel like I’ll be able to dictate where I want the fight to go, whether it’s standing or on the ground, and I think that’s just something we’re going to play with a little bit in the fight camp.”
