Kid Yamamoto To UFC: ‘Give Me A Chance, Don’t Cut Me’

On the preliminary card of UFC 184, MMA pioneer Kid Yamamoto faced Roman Salazar. While Yamamoto was looking impressive throughout the fight, unfortunately an unintentional eye poke to the left eye of Salazar forced referee John McCarthy to stop the bout, and it was ruled a no-contest.
The NC marked Yamamoto’s 4th bout in the Octagon, dropping his record to 0-3-1.
He made a plea with the UFC following the bout to please not cut him.
