Lineker On McCall: “At some point I will catch him”

We have a good helping of fighter trash talk for everyone today. This time around it’s UFC flyweight John Lineker sending a message to his upcoming opponent,”Uncle Creepy” himself, Ian McCall.

Up until recently it’s been McCall providing us with some nice pre-fight quotes, but Lineker decided to join in the fun and lay the verbal smack down.

Lineker recently spoke with MMAJunkie, here are some of the juiciest bits.

“I don’t like to talk a lot; I prefer to just show what I can do when in the octagon,” said Lineker. “And I do respect Ian McCall in the same way I respect all of my other opponents, as well, but I do think that he is worried – and he should be.

“Sure, Ian can move and wiggle around the octagon, but at some point, I will catch him.”

“Ian McCall will find out why they call me, ‘Hands of Stone.’ I stop guys. Ian McCall will find out, once you feel my power, you can’t dance around no more.”

Lineker will get the chance to back up his talk when the two men face off at UFC Fight Night 56: Shogun vs. Manuwa on Nov. 8 at the Ginásio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlândia, Brazi.
