Lombard Calls For Fight Against MacDonald

Recently it was announced Tarec Saffiedine was forced to withdraw from his UFC Fight Night bout against Matt Brown next month. With Hector Lombard defeating Josh Burkina last night at UFC 182, many are calling for a bout between Brown and Lombard.

Lombard spoke about the possibility at the post-fight press conference, saying he would rather fight Rory MacDonald for the #1 contender spot.

“I think Rory MacDonald makes more sense for me. I think that he’s not going to fight for the title, so I think it makes sense.”
