MacDonald Denies Dana White’s Claims, Says He Knew What Year It Was After Lawler Fight
“I knew what year it was. I knew everything that was going on.”
“She was just asking me so many damn questions. And I was like just trying to get air and spit out all the blood that was in my throat, so I was just annoyed so I stopped answering her questions.”
UFC welterweight Rory MacDonald went through a war when he met champion Robbie Lawler in the octagon for the second time at UFC 189. He ended up losing via brutal fifth round TKO and afterwards at the post fight press conference, Dana White said MacDonald didn’t even know what year it was after the fight.
According to the fighter, that wasn’t exactly the case, as he told The MMA Hour.
