Matt Brown wants to fight the winner AND loser of Lawler vs. Condit
While most fighters are content calling out the winner of an upcoming fight, fan favorite fighter Matt ‘The Immortal’ Brown wants to fight both the winner and loser of this Saturday’s UFC 195 title bout between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit.
Brown has been sidelined since his UFC 189 win over Tim Means back in July. The win put Brown back in the win column after suffering back to back losses to Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks.
Brown spoke on The Great MMA Debate podcast to discuss why he wants fight the winner and loser.
“I think I should fight the loser of that fight. I can tell you that,” Brown said on the latest episode of The Great MMA Debate podcast. “That should be right around my timeline, right around their timeline as long as they don’t get f–king mollywhopped or anything. I think it should be a good timeline.”
“How bout instead of calling out one fighter, how bout I call out two fighters? I’ll fight the loser, then I’ll fight the winner.”
While ‘The Immortal’ is hoping for a return in April or May, he admits that a June or July return to the Octagon is more likely.
