Matt Mitrione, Tyrone Spong And Others Ask For Rothwell Fight But Get Denied
We now know that UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell has been officially pulled from UFC Fight Night Dublin. On Tuesday it was announced that his opponent Stipe Miocic had to pull out because of injury and that the UFC would be looking for a late replacement to take on Rothwell.
Unfortunately the UFC were unable to find suitable replacement. Although, that’s not because people weren’t offering.
UFC heavyweight Matt Mitrione, who already lost to Rothwell, called for a rematch while Tyrone Spong and Derek Brunson also said they’d be willing to step in on short notice.
