Matt Riddle Popped For Weed / Francisco Rivera Popped For Stimulants, Both Suspended | UFC News

Following UFC 149, welterweight Matthew Riddle failed his post-fight drug test while testing positive for Marijuana. Riddle won his bout by defeating Canadian Chris Clements via arm-triangle. The third round submission was enough to earn Riddle submission of the night honors.
Riddle was suspended for 90-days following the July 21st event. His suspension is lifted as of tomorrow, Friday October 19th. Riddle apologized for his actions to a source close to him, and chose not to appeal his suspension. Riddle was a member of Season 7 of The Ultimate Fighter, losing in the second round to Tim Credeur.
Also suspended was bantamweight Francisco Rivera who defeated Roland Delorme by KO. His first round knockout earned him knockout of the night honors. Rivera tested positive for an unnamed over the counter stimulant, warranting a 90-day suspension as well, his suspension is also lifted as of tomorrow October 19th.
