On a night when the main event stars showed us just how bright they can shine,  I was reminded by a Bruce Lee quote.  “It’s like a finger pointing away to the moon.  Don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory.”

While millions witnessed McGregor vs Aldo and the record breaking UFC stats in all it’s glory last night,  Max “Blessed” Holloway is on a mission and has positioned himself as a dominating force in the stacked lightweight division.

Holloway’s last defeat was in the hands of the current champ back in 2013.   Revenging a defeat by McGregor and winning a championship is one avenue for the young Hawaiian, the other would be to take out Frankie Edgar and avenge a loss for Team Penn.

Regardless which route Holloway takes, “Blessed” time is now and he’s ready to take “all that heavenly glory.”
