NAC Looking To Fine Jones And Cormier Entire Purse

Yesterday we reported that the NAC would be addressing the brawl at the UFC 178 promotional event between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier next Tuesday at a hearing.

More details on the hearing and the NAC’s intent have been revealed.

MMAJunkie obtained a copy of the complaint against Jones and Cormier, which stated they were looking to fine each fighter $250,000, as well as potentially fining them of their purse for the event. As a result of “engaging in … an act or conduct that is detrimental to a contest of unarmed combat”

As well as for conducting themselves

“in a manner reflecting discredit to unarmed combat.”
