NAC To Address Jones-Cormier Brawl At Hearing Next Tuesday

Last month when Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier took the stage to have a staredown for the first time, a fight ensued. The brawl saw Jones throw UFC exec Dave Sholler aside before engaging Cormier in a brawl that ended with Jones on top, throwing punches at Cormier.

Ariel Helwani reported on UFC Tonight, that the Nevada Athletic Commission has asked both men to be present at a hearing regarding the incident next Tuesday, September 23rd.

The bout, which was originally supposed to take place on September 27th at UFC 178, was moved to UFC 182 on January 3rd of 2015 after Jones injured his knee.
