Medical Suspensions Report: UFC on FOX 13 Edition

Seventeen UFC on FOX 13 fighters have received mandatory medical suspensions following December’s event in Phoenix.

The Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission released the list of suspended UFC on FOX 13 fighters earlier this week, six of whom have been served with six-month terms.

The full list of suspended fighters is as follows:

Junior dos Santos: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative CT scan; 45 days no contact due to cut right eyebrow
Matt Mitrione: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative image for right wrist
Joe Riggs: Suspended 180 days, or provide MRI for neck injury
John Moraga: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative image for right hand and right wrist
Jamie Varner: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative image for right hand and right foot
Joe Ellenberger: Suspended 180 days, or obtain orthopedic clearance on right hand and right elbow
Henry Cejudo: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative image for right hand and right foot
Anthony Birchak: Suspended 180 days, or provide negative MRI for both right knee and right ankle
Claudia Gadelha: Suspended 60 days for cut to left eyebrow; 45 days no contact
Stipe Miocic: Suspended 45 days for cut upper lip; 30 days no contact
Nate Diaz: Suspended 45 days for cuts on bridge of nose and right eyelid
Stefan Struve: Suspended 45 days due to KO; needs orthopedic clearance; 30 days no contact
Gabriel Gonzaga: Suspended 45 days due to TKO; 30 days no contact
Dustin Kimura: Suspended 45 days for cut on right eyebrow; 30 days no contact
Willie Gates: Suspended 30 days for cut to left eyebrow; 21 days no contact
David Michaud: Suspended 30 days for cut to right eyebrow; 21 days no contact
Garett Whiteley: Suspended 30 days for cut to left ear; 21 days no contact
