NSAC Plans Reviewing Of Jones Cormier Fight

Earlier today during the UFC 178 Ultimate Media Day Daniel Cormier aggressively shoved Jon Jones in the throat which caused the champ to drop his belt and begin swinging at Cormier and then take him down and ground and pound the challenger.

The NSAC chair Francisco Aguilar released a statement to MMAJunkie that said they will look into the video of the fight and determine if any action is warranted against both fighters.

“It’s too premature for us to comment, considering we were not there. Upon review of the video and follow up questions, we can make an assessment.”
