Olympic Medalist Flavio Canto Describes ‘Emotional’ Experience With Ronda Rousey

While in Brazil promoting her upcoming fight with Bethe Correia, Ronda Rousey visited a Judo school and surprised the owner with a donation of $30,000.00, seen in the picture above.

Now, the owner of the school and Olypmic medalist in Judo, Flavio Canto speaks out about the situation and how he felt when he received the check.

“That was a huge surprise. We were recording a story for my TV show with her and Rafael dos Anjos on Saturday and, when I told her I had one last question, she asked me to wait because she had a surprise for me.”

“She got up and came back with a big check. She auctioned the gloves she used on her last fight and said she had promised to give all the money to Reação. I started to sweat. I didn’t know what to say, how to thank her. It was a big surprise. I was emotional.”
