On this day four years ago UFC 142 went down from Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
In the main event of the card Jose Aldo was set to defend his UFC featherweight championship against then-undefeated Chad Mendes in what many expected to be a grueling fight that saw Mendes using his wrestling to negate the striking of Aldo.
Ultimately, Aldo ended up picking up a highlight reel 1st round KO as he landed a beautiful knee that left Mendes dazed and confused on the canvas.
