UFC strawweight Paige VanZant is a fast growing star in her own right, currently 2-0 in the UFC and already she’s locked up an exclusive sponsorship deal with Reebok.

The Team Alpha Male fighter is also a fan of potentially the biggest star in MMA history, Ronda Rousey.

The UFC bantamweight champion is loved by many, making her more than just another UFC fighter. She’s in movies, she’s writing books and oh yeah she’s still knocking girls out in 34 seconds. With the major popularity and exposure also comes the naysayers, those who for whatever reason don’t really care for the champ.

“Ronda’s been awesome to me. I don’t see how anyone can look at her and see anything except for, she’s the person you want to emulate and admire. If someone is saying bad things about Ronda, it’s because they’re jealous, they’re small-minded people who would rather tear someone down than build themselves up.”

“It’s the way she treats everyone. She was nice to me, but she was also polite and responsive to every fan and person who wanted to talk to her. That’s the way you should be and that’s why I shake my head when people are jealous of her.”
