Retired UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen spent some time on base in San Diego recently.
Chael Sonnen retired after going just 3-4 in his last seven bouts. However, three of those losses were in title fights, two to Anderson Silva and one to Jon Jones. He hasn’t seen the cage since a November 2013 defeat to Rashad Evans.
The UFC tentatively has reserved the Madison Square Garden on April 23rd for a highly anticipated Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier rematch at UFC 198 without knowing for certain whether or not New York will allow the UFC to host an event there.
