Rafael dos Anjos vs. Rustam Khabilov In The Works For UFC 170

An intriguing lightweight matchup is reportedly in the works between Rafael dos Anjos (pictured) and Rustam Khabilov for February’s UFC 170 event.

This announcement comes by way of FOXSports.com, but UFC officials have yet to announce the bout.

UFC 170 is set to go down in the UFC’s backyard of Las Vegas, Nevada. The pay-per-view event will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Dos Anjos will be eyeing his sixth-straight UFC win going into this proposed bout. The Brazilian Will look for his first finish in five-fights come fight night as his last four bouts have all ended via decision.

Khabilov is one of Russia’s most highly touted imports. The Team Jackson fighter last saw action besting former Strikeforce title challenger, Jorge Masvidal at ‘Fight for the Troops 3’.
