Rashad Evans Out Another 6-7 Months
Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, “Suga” Rashad Evans will be out of action for an additional 6-7 months following a second surgery to repair his knee.
Much like Dominick Cruz, Evan’s first attempt to repair his ACL failed, requiring a second surgery, which already took place.
UFC tonight broke the news on Wednesday night’s broadcast.
“I decided I won’t let this beat me,” Evans told the show. “I won’t be held down by this. I decided I will get 100% healthy.”
Rashad has been out of action since his Nov. 2013 victory over Chael Sonnen.
