REMINDER: Tickets Go On Sale Today For UFC on FOX 16 in Chicago

The world famous octagon will return to Chicago next month for UFC on FOX 16.

The twelve bout fight card is headlined by a bantamweight title fight rematch featuring current champ T.J. Dillashaw (11-2 MMA) taking on former title holder Renan Barao (33-2 MMA).

Dillashaw and Barao initially squared off at UFC 173 in May of 2014, where T.J. pulled off one of the biggest upsets in UFC history by TKOing the longtime Brazilian champ in the fifth-round.

The card also features a key women’s bantamweight bout, as former Stikeforce champion Miesha “Cupcake” Tate will take on surging contender Jessica “Evil” Eye.

Miesha Tate (16-5 MMA) was most recently seen in action at January’s UFC 183 event in Las Vegas, where she earned a decision victory over Sara McMann. That victory made it three in a row for “Cupcake”, as she had previously defeated Liz Carmouche and Rin Nakai respectively.

Meanwhile, Jessica Eye (11-2 MMA) was last seen in action at November’s UFC 180 event in Mexico, where she scored a second-round TKO win over Leslie Smith.

UFC on FOX 16 also showcases a key lightweight fight between perennial contenders Myles Jury (15-1 MMA) and Edson Barboza (15-3 MMA).

Tickets for July’s UFC on FOX 16 event go on sale today at 11am EST. Ticket prices range from $40 to get in the door to $250 for cageside seats.
