Report: Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes Planned For December
A UFC bantamweight fight between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes is being targeted for December. The report comes from Combate, who say that the fight does not have a scheduled event or date, but December was mentioned.
Of course we all know that Tate was expected to fight Ronda Rousey for the third time, but was jumped by Holly Holm who got the shot instead and will now face off with the champ at UFC 193 on Nov. 14.
Tate’s coming off of a win over Jessica Eye at UFC on FOX 17. Nunes really burst onto the scene after her most recent win, a TKO victory over Sara McMann.
Tate is currently on a four fight win streak while Nunes has managed to pull off two wins back to back.
This fight was expected to come together, with Dana White himself saying that he wants to see this fight happen.
Looks like now it will. Do you think it should take place on the already staked UFC 194, which takes place on Dec. 12, or maybe the TUF 22 Finale on Dec. 11.
