Ronda Rousey Sets Deadline For Cyborg Bout
Ronda Rousey has set a deadline for a fight between herself and Cris Cyborg to happen.
Rousey’s book is coming out tomorrow and she’s making the rounds doing media coverage for it. Early today she stopped by The MMA Hour to discuss some parts of the book and eventually got to talking about Cris Cyborg.
Rousey gave a deadline for the fight to happen, comparing it to another big fight that took about 5 years to happen. Here’s what she had to say.
“Pacquiao vs. Mayweather had a five-year build up and it earned 5.5 million buys. We are at about three. So I would say, I’ll keep my hopes up until five, then I’m moving on after that.”
So we have two more years for this fight to happen, then the champ won’t be interested anymore. Think it happens?
