While many fight fans assume that male fighters are more dangerous because of their size and muscular physique, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey believes it is quite the opposite.

Ahead of her UFC 193 main event fight against Holly Holm on Saturday in Melbourne Australia, Rousey spoke to The LA Times to discuss why female fighters are more dangerous than male fighters.

“A lot of these girls, since they’re not very structured, they’ll do reactions that don’t make sense. Sometimes it makes it a lot more difficult. A lot of these women fighters are a lot more dangerous than the guys. They’re less structured because they’re newer in the sport. They throw things out of nowhere.”

“It’s hard to describe the way I’m thinking. I have this action and so many reactions that can come from that. They pick one and I have so many answers. I have an answer to this one and there’s so many reactions to that answer. I know the reactions that make sense and I’m prepared for the ones that don’t.”
