Salary Report: Overeem Tops Fight Night 26 Fighter Pay, Even In Defeat

UFC heavyweight, Alistair Overeem, cashed in big-time for his latest performance inside the Octagon at ‘UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen.’

The big man topped the disclosed payroll with an astonishing $285,714.29 fight purse for his first round KO loss to Travis Browne.

The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission released the figures today.

The event took place on August 17th from the TD Garden in Boston and aired live and free as part of the launch of Fox Sports 1.
