Even though fans from the mixed martial arts community are expecting CM Punk to perform poorly in his first octagon outing, it looks like he is making amazing progress in training.

MMANews learned that Phil “CM Punk” Brooks just had his second MMA scrimmage bout and Duke Roufus described it as “great”. That’s all the details the coach revealed about his progress, though, as they are looking to keep details about Punk under wraps.

CM Punk signed with the promotion late in 2014 and it has yet to be announced when his first fight is, or who it will be against. Who would you like to see Punk face in his octagon debut?
