Sonnen: Ronda Rousey’s WWE Response Unmatched
Ronda Rousey made an appearance at WWE’s “Wrestlemania 31” earlier this year and tore the house down with The Rock. Chael Sonnen mentioned in a recent interview that even though she isn’t a member of their roster, he thinks Rousey drew the biggest ovation of the night!
Sonnen told MMAMania, “I’m a Ronda fan and supporter. I do feel I’m being impartial when I say this, I thought she got the loudest response of all of Wrestlemania and it surprised me. She does well in the world of MMA, but I wasn’t positive they were going to know who she was over there. I’m looking around the room and I’m going, ‘wait a minute, she got the loudest response of anybody on the card.’”
It’s saying something when Rousey drew a bigger ovation from wrestling fans than The Undertaker and Sting. Do you think she has a future in the WWE, or should she stick with the octagon?
