Sonnen’s #FreeNickDiaz Shirts On Pace To Sell More Than Rousey’s DNB Shirts?

Almost immediately after Nick Diaz was suspended for five years and fined $165,000, former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen took to social media and began selling #FreeNickDiaz shirts.

After that there were reports that Diaz’s lawyers said they were going to look into the sales because Sonnen didn’t have permission to use his name. Well, apparently it’s all good. Sonnen told BloodyElbow that he and Nick have an agreement and that they are Nick’s shirts.

“I have a contract with Nick.”

“Nick and I are partners, we have a deal to make these shirts. These are his shirts.”

Sonnen also made a bold statement, saying that Diaz’s shirts are on pace to sell as much as Ronda Rousey’s ‘DNB’ shirts.

“These are gonna set records. Support for Nick is worldwide. Ronda did 56,000 shirts in 2 weeks. Nick’s on pace.”

Sonnen has been busy on twitter pushing the sales, even using some unique poetry!
