Souza Wants Title Shot Or Belfort – Tired Of Fighting People Beneath Him

Last Night on FOX Sports 1, The UFC Tonight crew gave us un update on the status of Jacare Souza.

Souza, a former Strikeforce champ is undefeated in his three UFC bouts and according to the show’s insider, Ariel Helwani, Jacare is done fighting people beneath him and wants a title shot or a fight against Vitor Belfort.

Here’s what he said:

“Jacare Souza just had elbow surgery and his manager says his recovery is done. Now they want a title shot. They’re ready to unleash the beast. They’d like to fight either of the winner of Chris Weidman vs. Lyoto Machida, or fight Vitor Belfort.”
