Stefan Struve: Fainting Spell Unrelated To Heart Condition
Stefan Struve was supposed to make his return to the Octagon this past Saturday against Matt Mitrione, however just several fights before his, he experienced a fainting spell and was deemed unable to compete.
Struve has been out of competition for quite some time after it was discovered that he has a leaky aortic valve, which causes blood to leak back into his heart.
Struve took to Twitter to tell his fans that he is okay, and has some things to figure out before he’s ready to step into the cage again.
Just want to let everybody know I'm ok, had a blackout in the locker room and we had to call the fight off, thanks for the love folks!
