Thiago Alves Believes He’s Carlos Condit’s Kryptonite

Thiago Alves is trying to make another run at the welterweight title and that continues with his fight this Saturday.

Alves will meet Carlos Condit, who is coming off of a year long layoff due to an injury to his ACL. The Pitbull believes that he is a bad matchup for The Natural Born Killer, here’s what he said to MMAJunkie.

“I think we mesh perfectly; I’m Carlos Condit’s kryptonite. Everything that I do is just bad news for him. My fighting style is very deadly and very offensive for his fighting style. It’s not just about the leg kicks. It’s about the whole combo. I’m better than him everywhere. Not just in stand up, but on the ground and in wrestling also. It’s a matter of putting everything together, hurting him and breaking him then putting him away.”
