Tim Kennedy’s Reebok Kit Is Coming, No Backlash For Recent Comments

UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy currently does not have a Reebok ‘Fight Kit’ available for purchase online. When this was found out by fans you could imagine what their minds would jump to….’oh no, Kennedy’s getting punished for talking about Reebok.’

Well, according to UFC PR rep Paige Berger, via an email sent to MMAJunkie, Kennedy’s kit not being on the website for purchase has nothing to do with anything he has said or done regarding Reebok.

“The unavailability of Tim Kennedy’s fight kit has absolutely nothing to do with his comments regarding the UFC athlete outfitting policy. We are working with all UFC athletes to ensure their kits are available to the public for purchase.”

“Fight kits that are offered to the public are intended to reflect athletes’ styles and customization choices and, as each kit is designed and finalized, they will be made available for purchase at various retail channels.”

So, maybe you conspiracy theorist out there need to slow down and stop watching so much X-Files. Or….maybe Kennedy is an alien and the UFC is a secret organization trying to keep extra terrestrial life from advancing on our world by keeping the sales of their Reebok jerseys down.
