Top UFC Bantamweight Signs New 5-Fight Deal
Rising UFC bantamweight Thomas Almeida reportedly just inked a new 5-fight extension with the promotion.
Almeida is coming off of a win over the tough veteran Brad Pickett at UFC 189. A win that was impressive and exciting to say the least and that could really be said about most of his career so far. The 24 year old is a top prospect who’s making his way up the division’s ranks.
According to a report from MMAJunkie, the Brazilian has reached an extension with the UFC, for 5-fights. His pay was not disclosed.
You might not recognize his name yet, but just think of that guy who knocked out Pickett with a crazy flying knee….that’s him.
Should be a fun fighter to watch in the future.
