Former champ Jon Jones is set to to face the Daniel “DC” Cormier in April for a shot for “Bones” to reclaim the LW strap. Cormier defended the title against Alexander “The Mauler” Gustaffson a few months ago, but many critics thought his option to stand and trade with the longer Gustafsson resulted in more punishment than necessary.
Jones has been such a dominant champion since defeating Maurcio “Shogun” Rua in 2011 that he is listed as the #2 P4P fighter in the world after long after his suspension.
Will DC defend his belt, or will we see a more hungrier, dominant Jones after his time off?
