TRT User Chael Sonnen Releases Statement On Recent Ban

“The rules are the rules – that’s it. Yesterday, it was legal, so quit complaining. Today, it’s illegal. That’s it. Quit complaining. End of conversation. Testosterone’s out.”

Chael P. Sonnen made headlines after his first defeat at the hands of Anderson Silva. It was then that we learned he was using TRT to assist with a medical condition. While he remains one of the more prominent users of the therapy, Sonnen is far from the only UFC fighter on the stuff.

In a recent interview with FOX Sports, Sonnen simply said, ‘rules are rules.’ Which will likely signify the end of his use as well? Perhaps?
