“UFC 175” Results: Font Knocks Roop Out in Round 1

Most fans were waiting to tune into Fox Sports 1 for the Urijah Faber bout, but Rob Font gave a nice treat to those who tuned in to see him. Most suspected Font to struggle to overcome Roop’s reach advantage, but he stood inside the instance in the middle of the octagon and had no issues trading shots.

Roop was in the middle of throwing his left hook, but Font exploded into reach and caught him with a huge right hand. The punch landed on the jaw of Roop and his legs turned into jelly. Roop fell in slow motion and Font fired off a couple extra shots before the referee waved the fight off.
