Performance of the Night: Demetrious Johnson
Demetrious Johnson implemented his game plan and did everything he said he was going to do tonight. He refused Horiguchi to gain any momentum in the fight and cut his attack off the fight with level changing takedowns. Even though the crowd was booking Johnson’s style the entire fight, he stuck it to them with one last second left and submitted Horiguchi with an armbar. It was the latest stoppage in UFC history.

Performance of the Night: Thomas Almeida
Thomas Almeida kicked off the pay-per-view with an amazing technical knockout win over Yves Jabouin. Almeida kept charging toward Jabouin and landed shot after shot before the referee was forced to wave it off. By the time Almeida walked away, Jabouin was out on his feet only being held up by the fence.

Fight of the Night: Chad Laprice vs. Bryan Barberena
Chad Laprice and Bryan Barberena hand a fantastic match on the preliminaries. Laprice set a high pace in the opening round which it looked like Barberena would not be able to match. Barberena came back in the second round and actually pushed a harder pace that wore Laprice out! It played out like a classic back-and-forth kickboxing match and ended with a well deserved decision win for Laprice.
