UFC 188 Card Final with 13 Bouts, Prelims Set to Air on FX
UFC 188 is less than six days away! Cain Velasquez makes his long awaited return to the octagon when he intends to unify his UFC Heavyweight Championship with Fabricio Werdum’s interim championship. Werdum was originally slated to face Velasquez at UFC 180, but the champion was forced to pull out due to injury.
Gilbert Melendez returns to the octagon this Saturday as well when he goes toe-to-toe with Eddie Alvarez. This bout has been rumored to happen before in DREAM, but the two never met in the lightweight grand prix. Now, several years later, these lightweights will do battle to decide to the superior fighter truly is.
