UFC 188 Draws Over 21,000 For Return to Mexico City

UFC President Dana White announced the figures of “UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum” after the conclusion of the event during the post fight press conference.

Mexico City Arena housed over 21,036 ravenous fans as they got to see Werdum dethrone Velasquez in the main-event championship bout. The gate was not released, but they broke records in the same arena at UFC 180 with less fans in attendance.
