UFC 190 Results: Rousey KOs and Faceplants Correia in 34 Seconds
Ronda Rousey made quick work of yet another contender tonight at “UFC 190” when she dropped and finished Bethe Correia in the first minute of the first round.
The fight got off to a quick start and Correia tried to pick up the advantage in the clinch. Rather than escape the clinch, Rousey tried to outperform “Pitbull” where she thought she had the advantage. Rousey impressed by firing off quick and powerful shots that forced Correia to abandon the clinch and reset while backing up.
Rousey didn’t give Correia any space to breathe and she followed up with brutal body shots up against the cage wall. Rousey landed a knee to the body that forced Correia to drop her hands and back up further.
Correia, obviously in pain and stunned, ate a two punch combination to the temple that forced her to drop face first onto the canvas. Rousey heard the thud and the referee pushed her way, confirming another successful title defense.
Rousey is STILL the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
