UFC 190 Will Feature 7 Main Card Fights, Not 5
UFC 190, featuring a main event between bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Bethe Correia, will have seven fights on its main card which will air on PPV.
That’s two more than the usual five. The last time a main card had more than five fights was UFC 144. The main reason for the addition of fights is that UFC Fight Night 70, with takes place this Saturday had to drop a few fights due to visa issues, including the two TUF: Brazil finale fights. Those two fights will now be apart of UFC 190’s main card.
Or, perhaps the UFC is expecting another less-then-30 second finish from Rousey and just wants to have more fights to fill in the extra time. Not likely, but it sort of makes sense.
Note: UFC 144 lasted 4 hours.
