UFC 193 already nearly sold out and expected to break records
Ronda Rousey is set to break another record before her fight with Holly Holm at UFC 193 even takes place. Tickets have gone on sale for their fight in Melbourne, Australia on November 15th at the Etihad Stadium.
The Herald Sun report that tickets went on sale at 10:00 AM on Sunday morning and they are already nearly sold out. They are expecting to fill the arena with nearly 70,000 rabid fans.
Ticket prices varied from $18,000 at ringside to just $100.60.
This would break UFC’s current record of 55,724 who packed the Rogers Centre to watch Georges St. Pierre square off with Jake Shields at UFC 129 in 2011.
Rousey’s previous fight at UFC 190 against Bethe Correia was the best-selling pay-per-view of 2015 so far, so the UFC Bantamweight Champion is no stranger to breaking records.
