UFC Fight Night 51 Picks Up Hallmann vs. Tibau, Pepey vs. Johnson
UFC Fight Night 51, which will serve as the UFC’s return to Brazil has just picked up two more bouts.
Brazil’s own Gleison Tibau will square off with Piotr Hallmann.
And Godofredo Pepey will square off with Dashon Johnson.
Tibau is coming off a unanimous decision win over Pat Healy at UFC Fight Night Cerrone vs. Miller earlier this month. Win his win over Healy he bounced back from a KO loss to Michael Johnson in December.
His opponent, Piotr Hallmann, is just 2-1 inside the Octagon. His most recent win came over veteran fighter Yves Edwards, whom he choked out back in June. Prior to that he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Al Iaquinta back in October.
Godofredo Pepey bounced back from back to back losses with a flying knee win against Noad Lahat back in March in a performance of the night outing. Prior to that he dropped back to back TKO losses to Sam Sicilia and Felipe Arantes.
Dashon Johnson is 0-1 inside the Octagon, and dropped a submission loss to Jake Matthews in June in his UFC debut.
