UFC FN 59 Results: McGregor Dominates Siver, Wins in Round 2
“The Notorious” Conor McGregor did not defeat his opponent in two minutes like he had predicted, but the lengthier fight favored him as it showcased just how dominant he could be in the octagon. Dennis Siver is a top ten fighter but it looked like he had no business being in there with McGregor.

Conor McGregor was heavily favored walking into this bout and naysayers questioned if it was all hype. McGregor backed it up with his actions inside the octagon tonight as he shut Siver down every chance he got. Siver was repeatedly popped with a straight left and when it was all said and done, he was busted up badly.
McGregor dropped Siver in the second and jumped on top of him to finish the fight. Again, McGregor was methodical in picking his strikes and he transitioned to full mount right away. Siver turtled up and McGregor repeatedly blasted him with shots until referee Herb Dean peeled him off.
After the bout, McGregor jumped the fencing of the octagon and screamed in the face of Jose Aldo. The rivalry has already begun!
