UFC FN 62 Results: Silva Hands Koscheck 2nd Loss in 1 Month

Erick Silva put on a performance that you would usually see from a top five competitor! Even though the fight ended in submission, Silva did a fantastic job at out-striking Josh Koscheck. Koscheck was staggered several time with strikes but it was ultimately his own punch that cost him the fight.

Koscheck started to pressure Silva into the corner of the octagon by throwing bombs, but one of the shots caused Koscheck to slip. Silva capitalized on this pushed Koscheck up against the fence and started to work for a guillotine. Once he realized it was locked in, Silva dropped to the ground and wrapped his legs around the body of Koscheck. Koscheck knew he was trapped and submitted.
