UFC FN 63 Results: Poirier Crushes Ferreira in Round 1

Dustin Poirier is back in the lightweight division! Ferreira was finished for the first time in his career tonight.

Ferreira was caught with a left hand and dropped to the mat. He recovered so quickly, you’d have thought it was a slip! He eventually made it back to his feet only to be dropped by Poirier seconds later.

As Ferreira was throwing a combination, he ducked down. Poirier threw a beautiful low right hook which sent Ferreira tumbling to the mat again. This time, Poirier made sure to jump on him right away. After a couple hammerfists, the referee waved the fight off.
